Simplicity S9700 Misses’ Vintage Jumpsuit

Boilersuit from the 1970s. A rerelease of Simplicity 7310 from 1975. Here it is on the Simplicity website.

So my inspiration for this boilersuit is these Run & Fly boilersuits. In particular these pattern ones.

Simplicity Misses’ Tops

This is a cute pleated top with a variety of different sleeves. S9452 Top on Simplicity website.

I have a dress which is pleated and it’s looking a little old now so this is to replace it. My dress looks a bit like the green one in Simplicity 7633.

Simplicity S9385 Misses’ Knit Tops

So I like all of the views of this pattern. Loving the banded waist and the puffy sleeves. Simplicity website.

Simplicity S9466 1960s Vintage Misses’ Dress

So another rerelease of a Retro pattern, this time Simplicity 8140. It’s a double-breasted wrap mini dress. I brought it because I just love 1960s dresses. Simplicity website

Simplicity S9709 Misses’ Pants and Shorts

This was a bit of a whoopsie buy. I was a bit shocked when it arrived. I think I added the wrong pattern to my wishlist. Anyway, I like that it has a shaped waistband. I haven’t got many patterns in my stash with fly fronts and shaped waistbands. Also love the straight legs and the other waist details. I’m not sure what I might make maybe a 1960s pants suit. Butterick B6567 Lisette Misses’ Dress

I think this is going to be the first of the patterns I make. Loving the pockets and the interesting details. Not sure if I’m going to colour-block it or maybe even multi-fabric it. Simplicity website
